Continental™ Solution® Packs

The Solution® pack range from Continental™ has everything needed for an Underfloor Heating installation in a cost effective bundle, including pipe, fixings, manifold, pump and mixer unit, thermostats and a controller,

These packs are sized to fit floor sizes from 14sqm to 110sqm, and from 1 to 6 rooms giving a straightforward, quality Continental™ UFH system for a wide range of heating solutions.

With the sizes and number of rooms to be heated, you will be able to select the right Solution® pack for your project.

UFH Controls & Wiring

The controls of an underfloor heating system are key to running the system effeciently and straightforwardly. UFHdirect™ supply a complete range of quality thermostats and controllers which are simple to install and use.

The thermostats include electronic rotary dial up to fully programmable units and are also available in RF versions. Select from the market leading Continental™ HeatMax™ and Heatmiser ranges for your project.

The wiring centres and UFH night setback modules are specifically designed for underfloor heating and again are available in RF versions. These systems come with clear wiring diagrams for simple trouble free installation.

Manifolds, Mixers & Accessories

Brass underfloor heating manifolds, mixers for water flow temperature regulation, ball valves, end-sets for filling and draining and other related items.

UFHdirect™ only sell products from Continental™ the market-leaders, so you know these key components in any system are of the highest quality.

A good rule of thumb is to have no more than 100m of pipe on any one manifold zone, and no more than 1000m of pipe on any manifold.

In addition to the manifold you will need to ensure that you buy a mixer to control the flow-temperature, and the right type of eurocone fitting to connect your pipe to the manifold.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you buy the correct eurocones - 16mm for AluPex™ and 15mm for Multi-Pex™.

UFH Pipe

Underfloor heating pipe must be durable, reliable and easy to install. UFHdirect™ supplies Continental™ UFH pipe which is manufactured in Europe to the highest standards.

Available in in both MultiPex™, five layer cross lnked polyethylene with an oxygen barrier and AluPlas™, a multilayer pipe with an alumininium oxygen barrier, the pipe comes in 200m and 100m coils and has a design life of fifty years. This top quality pipe is easy to install and gives trouble free reliability.

IMPORTANT: The MultiPex™ pipe needs 15mm eurocones and the AluPlas™ 16mm eurocones to connect to the manifold.

In the tools section there are pipe cutters, reamers and spring benders to make an intallation as easy as possible.

UFH Tools

Using quality tools designed for the job makes an underfloor heating installation go smoothly and so saves you time and therefore money.

UFHdirect™ offer a range of tools specifically made for underfloor heating work. Each tool is well made, robust and simple to use. The range includes pipe cutters, reamers, benders and tacker guns.

UFH Spreader Plates

UFHdirect™ offers a full range of quality aluminimum diffuser plates with pipe spacings to suit different heat sources including heat pumps.

The fit from above plates come with the unique QuickSnap™ feature which allows easy fitting with resorting to messy and time consuming cutting.

AluPlates™ are designed for floor constructions including floating and joisted floors and have pipe centres set to suit all heat sources. This will give a solution for each of your underfloor heating installations.

UFHdirect™ also offer Continental™ fit from below plates for for upper storey floors which, once fitted, allow the pipe to be fitted quickly and easily saving time and money. Ideal for refurbishment projects.

UFH Fixings

UFHdirect™ offers a specific system of fixing the underfloor heating pipe in place for each style of installation.

This range includes clip track systems for screeded and large area floors, pipe clips and staple sytems for attaching the pipe to insulation.

Each system has been selected to make the installation as easy and straightforward as possible.

For staple systems we also offer a staple tacker gun which can be seen in the UFH Tools section.

UFH Insulation

Insulation is essential for the effeciency of underfloor heating systems and UFHdirect™ has a range of products specifically designed for underfloor heating.

Grooved insulation boards for use with aluminium plates with 150mm and 200mm centres and 30mm and 50mm thicknesses for floating floors, speed up installations.

Edge insulation, which prevents cold bridging, for screeded floors is available.
